On Sunday, May 7, the public will have the opportunity to watch this opening bullfight at Nuevo Toreo de Tijuana. Manuel Bowser, owner of the venue, invites people not only to enjoy this prime event, but to have a great time accompanied by great bullfighting music and the delicious menu of restaurant La Verónica, which is inside the venue.
In addition, he stated that throughout the rest of the year, there will be 5 more bullfights which will take place at this new bullfighting arena; four of them organized by Mr. Bowser and the other two organized by a southern Mexican company.
Regarding the bullfighters that will participate next Sunday, Mr. Bowser highlighted the great lineup that will have the presence of matadors Antonio García "El Chihuahua" and Spaniard José Cabrera. Above all, he spoke about the importance of having young Tijuana native talent with novillero Emiliano Beltrán, who said he was excited at having his debut take place in his native city.
The young bullfighter says that this next Sunday he will achieve one of his dreams, which is to debut professionally in bullfighting in his native city. He hopes that this performance takes him to other arenas in Mexico and, eventually, other countries.
His official debut occurred last March 4, 2022 at Plaza de Toros El Palacio del Arte de Morelia. On that occasion, he alternated with bullfighters Tato Loaiza, Antonio Magaña, Mauricio, and Alberto Ruiz. At that bullfight, this young talent had to fight against a bull from livestock farm San Maximiano that weighted 350 kg.
This mixed bullfight will take place at Nuevo Toreo de Tijuana, located in the old Villa Charra, on Vía Rápida Alamar Sur, in the Bulevar Manuel J, Clouthier exit. Doors will open at 12 PM, as there will be a celebration. It should be noted that by orders of the municipality of Tijuana, underage people are not allowed. Tickets can be bought at El Foro, Real Inn Hotel ticket booths, on website boletomx.com or at the arena’s facilities.
