Looking for a unique outdoor experience? This Sunday, April 19, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Rancho Los Peñasquitos invites the public to share a picnic with its friendly goats.
Located northeast of San Diego, the ranch community is nestled against a canyon where visitors can also enjoy hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
But for animal lovers, the highlight is a special lunchtime gathering right next to the goat pen.
Beyond sharing a meal, attendees will hear captivating stories about ranch life dating back to the 1860s. They’ll also have the opportunity to interact with Nubian goats and learn how to care for them.
In case of bad weather, the event may be canceled. Organizers recommend calling ahead at (858) 484-7504 to confirm.
