The Ensenada community has come together to request financial support for Becky Echeverría in her battle against breast cancer. After enduring surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation, Becky has continued rebuilding her life while facing the financial and emotional aftermath of the disease. Her story is one of resilience and an incredible ability to keep moving forward.
Initially diagnosed in 2020, Becky seemed to have overcome breast cancer with lumpectomy and limited chemotherapy. However, the disease returned in 2023. Thanks to the support of family, friends, and the community, she was able to raise funds for intramuscular chemotherapy, achieving remission.

Unfortunately, the cancer has returned, and her oncologist now recommends a full mastectomy and extensive radiation therapy.
“Becky prays for God’s healing power and for the help of generous hearts so she can raise enough money. Please join me and donate to help this incredible woman, wonderful mother (of two), and beautiful soul regain her health,” her friend Lorene shared in a GoFundMe campaign.
With faith and hope, the Punta Banda and Lomas del Mar communities are calling for generosity to help cover the costs of surgery and necessary treatments.
