If you’re looking for something different like a journey through time, the Escondido Renaissance Faire is making its return this spring. The event offers an immersive experience that transports visitors to another era, complete with medieval combat, live entertainment, and a richly thematic atmosphere.
The Faire will take place on April 25 and 26, as well as May 2 and 3, at Felicita County Park. Gates are open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Medieval Activities and Atmosphere
Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy archery tournaments, jousting matches, battle reenactments, and live performances across two stages. Vendors will also be on hand selling themed clothing, decorative weapons, and other unique merchandise.
The food area will feature classic turkey legs, along with beverages such as beer, wine, and mead, a traditional drink from the medieval period.

A Plan for the Full Experience
Costumes are welcome and encouraged, though they are not required. With more than 20 years of history, the Escondido Renaissance Faire has become a regional favorite.
Tickets will be available at the entrance, with prices varying by day and access type. Parking is available for a fee, and a free shuttle service from a nearby location will help ease access to the site.
For those seeking a unique plan filled with entertainment, history, and fun near San Diego, the Escondido Renaissance Faire is an ideal choice.
