On Monday morning the former Mayor of Tijuana, Jorge Ramos, was arrested after an accident he admitted to being at fault to, which happened on a highway close to the neighborhood of El Soler in Tijuana.
There were 5 people who were injured in this accident, as well as damages caused to their vehicles.
Ramos was released on bail yesterday after posting 350,000 pesos ($29k USD). Although he has been set free, it does not mean that everything has been taken care of and that he will not be held responsible for anything else that arises from this situation. Those who have been affected from this incident can still press charges and sue him.
