The project of the Experimental Vineyard located on the premises of the La Morita wastewater treatment plant, in Tijuana, aims to demonstrate the benefits of treated wastewater, being that in these facilities, since the past three years, 800 branches of Cabernet Sauvignon have been watered with processed water. Along with parastatal staff and CITEDI students, winemaker Magoni Camilo has monitored these wine crops and, thus, making the necessary studies.

This is a project to determine how feasible it is to use treated wastewater to increase wine production in Valle de Guadalupe; being that, by doing so, the economic development of the region would be encouraged.
