Mayor Cesar Moreno was present during the event's inauguration alongside DIF's President, Claudia Gonzalez de Moreno, as well as the Undersecretary for State Tourism, Ives Lelevier Ramos and several government authorities.
Starting at 11:00 a.m. exhibitors of local cuisine, cheese producers from the city Tecate's wine producers, pastries and craft makers, delighted their audience with their products, offering the kindness and delicacies of the 'Magical Town'.
During a speech, Mayor Moreno acknowledged the organization that CANACO put in, in order to create the event, given that is a city tradition, Expo Cocinarte is festival that year after year takes on citizens as much as visitors, being the ideal platform for local and foreign tourism.
Likewise, he congratulated each and everyone of the exhibitors and chef who participated in the event, highlighting their talent and inviting them to continue putting Tecate on a high culinary venue, afterward, the Mayor and city officials took a tour along the different stands tasting different products.
