Warning issued in Baja California due to extreme heat this week
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issued a weather alert for southeastern and southern California and southwestern Arizona that states that these regions will be hit by "excessive heat" which will reach temperatures ranging from 107°F to 117°F (from 41.6°C to 47.22°C).
Due to how close these American regions are, Baja California could also be affected especially in the state capital, Mexicali, where there will be temperatures that will exceed 40°C.

It should be noted that the American warning will be active from Monday, September 2 until the night of Friday, September 6, which is why people are recommended to not go out to perform outdoor activities and to take the necessary precautions to prevent heat strokes.
