After the commotion social networks that were following the Mexican presidential elections, many users were shocked today when they noticed Facebook had erased their posts and status updates regarding the electoral process published from around June 29 to July 05.

Messages with candidate names, political parties and companies linked to irregularities disappeared without the users having authorized any of it.

Currently, Facebook’s position regarding the issue is not known but public reports all over the website itself continue, asking contacts and friends to check their Timeline on those dates to know if they are victims of cybernetic censorship.

Those who have pronounced themselves against Enrique Peña Nieto have posted comments, shared images and videos as well as carrying out a number of demonstrations, most of which have been called to through social networks; starting today, new communication strategies are going to be analyzed.
