STAFF.- A few hours ago Facebook announced through a press release the opening of Mexican offices. The direction will be in charge of Jorge Ruiz Escamilla who has been working with Google for the last five years.
The companys aim is to provide consultancy and support to publicity agencies besides achieving a closer collaboration with organizations in Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and Central America.
Facebooks vice-president for the Latin America division, Alexandre Hohagen, said that Mexico is one of the countries with more users as well as the second country of America in advertising.
Facebook already has Latin American offices in Brazil and Argentina.
