After killing the young girl, things did not stop there. These three men then decided to seek for some ransom from the young girl's family, but this only led to their arrest. They are now accused of kidnapping and murder and are in custody at the Attorney General Detention center of the State of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
The young men in this case were identified as Edgar Bedolla Partida, 18 years of age, Erick Salas Valencia, 18, and Miguel Angel Silva Lopez, 19, who all eventually confessed to this crime after falling into several contradictions during their interrogation.
The victim, a 17-year-old was found inside a room that is used as a utility room within a household. The detainees said they killed two hours after it has been hijacked, how it has been revealed. It is unknown the day that she was killed.
When the teen girl's remains were found, they were in a black plastic bag already in a state of putrefaction, in which lime powder was used to try to cover up and prevent bad odors. There were also boxes and bags of clothes that were piled up on top of the bags to try to blend it in.
The young girl was first contacted through Facebook by one of men involved in her murder who became her boyfriend, earned her trust and thus able to obtain information about her daily routine, and information on her family and how they could kidnap her.
Through the ongoing investigation, it is expected that the information obtained will reveal how, where and why these young men killed the teen girl whose identity was not revealed.
