Since last March, the ex-president of Cuba, Fidel Castro has not been seen in public, which is something that has had his followers a bit worried, but his son Alejandro had indicated that everything was fine, and even a few days ago the Cuban government had publicized a letter that was signed by Castro.

Just yesterday ,The Miami Herald informed that people close to Castro had confirmed that he had suffered a stroke, which had damaged some of his physical functions like talking, eating, also his ability to recognize people, and that his health was in a really delicate state, almost close to death.

Venezuelan doctor Jose Marquina confirmed the rumor, and stated that he knew of this news first hand, and that Castro would never be seen in public again.

Marquina has been a reliable source of information, since he had also previously spoken about the health of the president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.

Several rumors were spread all over the internet and social networks about Castro, where they had even mentioned his death.

Last Tuesday Hugo Chavez traveled to Cuba, due to that it was strange that Castro had not publicly congratulated Chavez for his re-election, since both leaders have had a close relationship.

Chavez trip to Cuba also prompted suspicion that something had happened.

Fidel Castro turned over the presidency to his brother Raul in 2006, after announcing that he was suffering from health problems.

Fidel Castro became the leader of Cuba in 1959 after Cuban Revolution.
