Find out how to travel from Tijuana to the “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” exhibit in Mexicali

One of the world's most renowned artistic and multisensory experiences has arrived in the capital of Baja California: it is "Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience" which will take visitors on a journey through the fascinating universe of one of history's most influential painters.

This exhibit is currently available at Centro Estatal de las Artes de Mexicali (CEART) located at Calzada de los Presidentes, Río Nuevo 21120; and because we know that many Tijuana natives wish to uncover this amazing experience, here we’ll tell you what transport you can use to get there.

An excellent option is to go on your own private car, as it is more affordable than a private taxi or app, taking into account the fact that the approximate distance between both cities is 180 km (112 miles), which is a trip of around 2 hours and 36 minutes.

        It should be noted that the approximate distance between Central de Autobuses (Bus Station) in Mexicali and CEART is 3.3 kilometers (2 miles), which is around 8 minutes by car. That's why we recommend using a private taxi or an app, which will charge around $70-100 pesos ($4-$5 dollars), depending on the time and demand.

        Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the life and work of Vincent Van Gogh, who created more than 2,100 works of art in just a decade. This exhibition is divided into six sections and includes big-sized screenings, engrossing soundtracks, and captivating narrations.
        
        With a 360° digital show, this experience is perfect for all ages and it promises to leave a lasting mark on whoever visits.
