TIJUANA.-"Tijuana is a city that should fill us with pride everyday, given that is home to people from every state of the country, hard working and good hearted men and women", expressed Mayor Jorge Astiazarán Orcí, during the city's 126th anniversary.
During the ceremony, which took place at Parque Teniente Miguel Guerrero, Mayor Astiazarán pointed out that the citizens of Tijuana possess an identity filled with customs and traditions that they shared with their families through their values.
The Mayor also pointed out that during these 126 years Tijuana has created a model city, that stands outs for its entrepreneur character and commitment to innovations. Afterwards, cake was cut ending the ceremony with a festival that included dance, music and fireworks.
