However, the 2025 edition did not feature any new additions from Baja California in these categories.

What is the Michelin Guide?

The Michelin Guide is a global benchmark in gastronomy, honoring restaurants for their quality and awarding one to three stars based on culinary excellence.

The guide not only celebrates the finest dining experiences but also underscores the passion, creativity, and respect for tradition that define its culinary scene.

Some of the most important accolades are the “Special Awards,” which include: the Michelin Service Award, the Michelin Sommelier Award, the Michelin Young Chef Award, the Michelin Mentor Chef Award, and the Michelin Exceptional Cocktails Award.

Baja California’s presence for the second time in the Michelin Guide Mexico not only acknowledges the talent of its chefs but also positions the state as an international culinary destination. The region continues to impress with its diversity, creativity, and commitment to excellence.
