California is one of people’s favorite places due to its incredible weather in spring and summer which is ideal to go to the beach, and in winter, many of its mountains are covered in snow which creates the ideal conditions to enjoy the cold and partake in some wintery sports.

The only bad thing about this is that most of these areas are several hours away from the border, which is why many Tijuana natives who wish to go don’t really have the chance to actually do so. However, there is an area in San Diego where snow does cover everything and it becomes an unparalleled landscape.

This zone is Mount Laguna, a non-incorporated area located in San Diego County 60 minutes away from the San Ysidro port of entry. In this winter season, snow has finally arrived here and has covered all of its surroundings with snow.

Facebook group users have recommended people to visit this place, and they also claim that it has a lot of snow, and that one can save time by not going all the way to Big Bear. This mountain is right next to Julian and it has been visited by several families in the last few weeks.

It should be noted that the National Weather Service has issued a warning due to a snowstorm that will arrive on Thursday to Sierra Nevada, Yosemite National Park, and Sequoia National Park; in addition, rain in the region is expected for tomorrow, which is why they recommend driving carefully.
