Famous tattoo artist and entrepreneur Kat Von D has revived her stunning black tulip field this year, opening the vibrant display to the public free of charge. Located directly in front of her Victorian mansion in Vevay, Indiana, the field features 15,000 “Queen of the Night” tulips, currently in full bloom.
What started as a personal passion project has also become a strategic effort to boost tourism in the small town of Vevay. Kat Von D moved there several years ago after purchasing a 35-bedroom Victorian mansion to escape the noise and congestion of California.

The tulips are now at their peak flowering stage, but visitors are encouraged to come soon, as the bloom will not last long.
While the field is open to everyone, Kat Von D asks visitors to be respectful of the space by not picking or stepping on the flowers. She also emphasizes that the gates leading to her home remain private and off-limits, as the mansion is a personal residence for her and her family.

The colorful field has already attracted both human visitors and pets, many of whom have been taking advantage of the scenic backdrop for photo sessions.
In a personal touch, Kat Von D has been thanking visitors in person for their support and for traveling to her beloved flower field and the town of Vevay.
