The 10th City Hall led by Mayor Rocío Adame of Playas de Rosarito invites the community to take advantage of the free deworming campaign for dogs and cats, which seeks to protect the health of both pets and Rosarito families.
The campaign is being held at the Animal Well-Being Clinic, located at Calle Jesús Leyva Torres #195 in Ampliación Benito Juárez neighborhood. Services are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Promoted by the Municipal Health Directorate under the direction of Francisco Guzmán, the initiative aims to prevent diseases that affect both animals and humans, including rickettsia—a disease transmitted by infected tick bites that can have serious consequences if not treated promptly.

The deworming process involves applying a liquid solution to the back of the pets’ necks, which effectively eliminates internal and external parasites, such as fleas and ticks. This measure not only improves animals’ quality of life but also serves as a key public health action for Rosarito neighborhoods.
The government urges residents to keep yards, gardens, and common areas clean, as overgrown vegetation and clutter encourage parasite breeding. Community participation is essential to prevent outbreaks and protect the environment. With these actions, the Rosarito City Hall reaffirms its commitment to animal well-being and community health.
