As autumn reaches its peak, a unique seasonal attraction is set to appear briefly along the city’s coastline. The San Diego Parks and Recreation Department will host a special one-day pumpkin patch event this Saturday at Waterfront Park, offering families a free bayside fall celebration.
Unlike traditional pumpkin farms that operate throughout the season, this pop-up patch at 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101, will only be available on October 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event promises more than just pumpkin selection. Children under 18 will receive a complimentary pumpkin to decorate and take home. The celebration will also feature craft stations, inflatable games, live music, photo opportunities, and diverse food options from local food trucks.

Costume Contest
A highlight of the day will be a costume contest with prizes awarded for creativity. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive in their best Halloween costume for a chance to win.
