SYRIA.- After the imminent destruction and death that Syria's war has caused , thousands of people have done everything possible to get out of the country and reach the nearest destination, mainly to save their families.

Germany and Austria have taken in thousands of refugees during the last couple of days, nearly reaching their limit.

Since last Saturday, over 16,000 refugees have entered Austria, according to the police department spokesperson of Burgenland, Wolfgang Backhoeing. He confirmed that all refugees has been transported to Germany.

Just this weekend, over 17,500 refugees arrived in Munich, which is why Germany can no longer take in more refugees.

"The kindness that Germany has showed over the last few weeks shouldn't be worn out," said Germany's Interior Minister.

However; chancellor Angela Merkel mentioned that Germany has promised an additional 3,000,000,000 euros to help out with the immigration crisis. She added that the country is willing to take in more refugees, but asked other countries to take in more as well.

France has joined the cause and will take in 24,000 refugees. President Francois Hollande said that the country is ready to take in this liability.

"We will do it because it's the principle to which France is committed to," mentioned Hollande.

Austria's border with Hungary continues to be open in order to receive more refugees, according to news provided by Austria's Interior Minister, Alexander Marakovits, while buses and trains arrived in the country. Several Austrians have taken water and food to the refugees arriving at Vienna's train and bus station.

On the other hand, regarding Mexico, Change.org has made a request to the country for it to take in 10,000 refugees, reminding it that it has been a political shelter for other countries at war, and that this time shouldn't be less different. It is expected to gather 150,000 signatures of which there are almost 100,000 collected.
