A young man shared the awkward moment he experienced on social media while trying to capture a couple’s marriage proposal at Crescent Bay Point Park.
According to a video shared on TikTok, the incident began when the woman, who was walking her dog, approached a videographer and photographer hired to capture the couple’s milestone moment.
As the production crew prepared to conceal themselves prior to the proposal, the woman demanded that they leave the park. Expressing frustration, she told them to “go back to Mexico,” stating:
“The park is for the people who live here, who enjoy the park and have picnics.”
Despite the crew explaining that their presence would be brief and that they were not local residents, the woman reiterated her hostility. She claimed to have already contacted local authorities and demanded the immediate removal of the decorative setup prepared for the occasion.
The confrontation escalated when a mariachi band began to play upon the arrival of the newly engaged couple and the camera crew. The woman yelled again, telling them to go back to Mexico.
The video has drawn widespread attention online, with internet users condemning the woman’s behavior.
