Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda led the delivery of 300 property titles in coordination with Baja California’s Institute of Real Estate and Housing Development (INDIVI), as part of efforts to protect the assets and legal certainty for Mexicali native families.
In her address to the beneficiaries at CEART Mexicali, the governor acknowledged the daily efforts of Baja Californians to strengthen their own and their families’ assets.

“It brought me great joy to hear your testimonies about how quickly the process to obtain your title was. That has been one of the main reasons and instructions we have given on how INDIVI should work,” she stated.
She compared this with previous administrations, where citizens sometimes waited up to 30 years to receive their property titles, while the current state government has delivered over 17,000 deeds so far.

“We are proud that today we can deliver 300 more titles because this represents legal certainty and your families’ heritage. In this government, you will always have an open door to voice and address your needs,” Governor Marina del Pilar said.
Meanwhile, the head of INDIVI, Saúl Osnaya López, noted that of the more than 17,000 titles delivered across the state during this administration, over 4,000 belong to Mexicali native families.

He emphasized that under the governor’s leadership, property title procedures have been streamlined, reducing processing time to an estimated three months.
