During the vacation period and throughout the year, Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda urged residents to take advantage of the free digital card “Be a Tourist in Your Baja California”, which offers discounts and benefits at over 400 businesses across all seven municipalities.

The governor emphasized that this initiative promotes tourism, supports local businesses, and encourages people to explore the diverse regions of the state. Restaurants, hotels, spas, local shops, recreational activities, and guided tours are all part of the extensive offerings under this program.

“With the ‘Be a Tourist in Your Baja California’ program, we invite locals and visitors alike to appreciate our natural, cultural, and culinary heritage from our vineyards to our beaches. We will continue to promote the well-being of all families in the state,” she said.

Obtaining the card is simple: just register on https://seturistabc.com, where a digital version will be emailed to you. This card can be displayed on your phone at participating businesses to access discounts. The website also lists all affiliated establishments and available promotions.

Currently, over 20,000 people are enjoying these benefits in destinations like Ensenada, Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate, San Felipe, Rosarito, and San Quintín. For example, in La Rumorosa, discounts are available at the La Rumorosa Museum Restaurant, El Vikingo Recreational Park, and Rancho La Ponderosa.

Businesses interested in joining the platform can register for free at https://seturistabc.com/registratunegocio, where they can learn how to integrate and offer promotions.

Residents can also find travel information on bajacalifornia.travel and the official social media channels of the program and Baja California’s Secretariat of Tourism.

With these initiatives, the State Government strengthens the regional economy, supports local businesses, and expands opportunities for more people to enjoy Baja California’s cultural, natural, and culinary riches.
