Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda will deliver her fourth State of the State Address this Friday at 7:00 p.m. in Mexicali, presenting the progress, programs, and results achieved during her administration in Baja California.
According to the governor, in addition to the main event in the state capital, she will hold seven additional reports — one in each municipality — to ensure broader citizen participation and transparency. Each event will take place in accessible public spaces to encourage community involvement.

Among the key achievements expected to be highlighted are the eradication of extreme poverty, positioning Baja California as the state with the lowest rate nationwide, as well as progress in public safety, including a decline in homicides and property crimes.
Ávila Olmeda is also set to outline major investments in social programs, totaling more than 12.9 billion pesos, and in transportation and urban infrastructure, with over 23 billion pesos allocated to improve mobility across the state.

In her address, the governor will emphasize the administration’s focus on women’s empowerment and gender equality, underscoring the creation of the state Department for Women and the implementation of the Violeta System, which includes initiatives such as the Violeta Squad, Violeta Card, and Violeta Transportation Program.
The governor’s statewide tour of reports aims to reaffirm her administration’s commitment to accountability, inclusion, and continued progress for all residents of Baja California.
