Governor Marina del Pilar underscored the importance that these meetings have as they promote cross-sectional policies that ensure inclusion, gender equality, the strengthening of security and social development in the region, and the promotion of Baja California's treasures to foreign tourists.
During this strategic meeting, several important issues were addressed. Most important of all was the collaboration between the Center for the Justice of Women in Baja California and One Safe Place in San Diego and tourism promotion through the Casa México project, whose launching is scheduled for 2025.
This meeting was characterized as a constructive and proactive dialogue focused on identifying mutual cooperation areas and the boosting of associations that benefit both sides of the border.
The governor stressed that the Tijuana-San Diego region is intimately related and by promoting joint initiatives that guarantee a safe and respectful environment and implementing projects that promote cultural and economic exchanges, both cities will mutually benefit and strengthen.
