Juan Ignacio Torres Landa, former candidate for governor for the Mexican state of Guanajuato, was killed in a helicopter crash today, while traveling with three other people who all belonged to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
The incident occurred around noon time near "La Loma" golf course, which is located in the capital of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
The accident left several people injured after the helicopter they were traveling in, fell into the golf course near the 7th hole killing instantly those on board.
Juan Ignacio Torres Landa was a Mexican businessman and politician (PRI), who served as a Mayor and as a Congressman.
