Authorities are appealing to the public to help find the family of Pedro Domínguez García, a 75-year-old man with visual impairment who was abandoned at the Hotel Linda in Tijuana’s Downtown area on Tuesday, August 5.
According to the hotel’s administration, Mr. Domínguez was brought there by a driver from a care facility, who registered him and then left, assuring that his family would come for him.

Left Alone with Only His ID
The hotel, located at the corner of Francisco I. Madero Avenue and Salvador Díaz Mirón Street, reports that Pedro Domínguez arrived with no personal belongings aside from his official INE identification. Since his arrival, hotel staff have provided him with a room and meals, but so far, no relatives have come to check on him.

In an interview with Border Zoom, Pedro Domínguez shared that he previously lived in the United States with his ex-wife, María Ocampo, and their children Lorenzo, Jesús, Agustina, Leticia, and José Luis. After the separation, he moved to Tijuana, later lived in Guerrero, and eventually returned to the border city, staying with his nephew Juan Baena Domínguez and his wife Claudia Camacho.
He also mentioned having a brother, Juan Domínguez, who lives in Guerrero, and a sister, Cristofora Domínguez, residing in San Diego.

As none of his family members have come forward, authorities and the hotel are asking for the public’s help. Anyone who knows Pedro Domínguez or his relatives is encouraged to contact the Hotel Linda.
