While it’s not quite Tijuana, it’s the next best thing! Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass have announced that the final stop of their last tour will be in San Diego on June 17, 2026.
The iconic musician, who celebrated his 90th birthday this year, shared on social media that the concert will feature all his greatest hits, including “The Lonely Bull” and “Rise.”
The “Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass & Other Delights” show has already drawn sold-out crowds in other Southern California cities. Fans are encouraged to get their tickets early to avoid missing out.
Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster, with prices ranging from $69 to $413.

Who is Herb Alpert?
Herb Alpert has left a profound mark on the music world with his innovative sound: a unique blend of jazz, pop, and Latin rhythms that came to define a golden era of instrumental music.
His connection to the border region is what inspired the group’s name, “Tijuana Brass.” It all started when Alpert first visited Tijuana in 1962 and was captivated by the vibrant sound and atmosphere of a bullfight at the now-closed Toreo de Tijuana.
