Yes, the app is still not officially available in Mexico but that didn't stop the madness this game has caused since the launching, so people from Tijuana started collecting Pokémons without much to worry about and organized Pokémon walks events on Sunday 31.

The event started and people didn't take the look away from their cellphone's screen for a while, luckily no one fell.

For nearly a month, there were signs all over Facebook of the event in Playas de Tijuana, and even though a lot of attendees said the organization was not the best, they still walked together until the ocean had covered most of the sand, the lights iluminated the place and the establishments were closed.

Sunday was not a day for resting. Around 300 people charged their phones and joined the First Pokémon Go walk in Tijuana. People had caps, backpacks or t-shirts inspired in the series, and costumes were not the exception. The other walk began at Parque Morelos and ended at El Trompo.

Afternoon arrived and some of the Pokémon Go lovers stayed at El Trompo to play in a video game tournament at the end of the long walk.
