This holiday season, a mountaintop retreat in Southern California is transforming into a winter wonderland. Hideout Mountain Lodge in Santa Ysabel has announced its “Winter Splendor Celebration,” a multi-week event designed to offer families a complete festive escape from December 12, 2025, through January 4, 2026.
The celebration will operate on weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with timed entry sessions at 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m.
Nestled on 40 acres of scenic hills, the lodge will curate a classic winter experience, complete with snow games, a scenic ice-skating rink, dazzling light displays, and cozy bonfires.

The venue will offer seasonal menus—featuring drinks like hot chocolate—along with specially designed spaces for guests of all ages.
