While the holiday season may still feel far off, Petco Park is already preparing to transform into a winter paradise. The ballpark has announced the return of its highly anticipated “Holiday Wonderland” at Gallagher Square, promising a festive escape complete with real snow, seasonal treats, and meet-and-greets with Santa Claus himself.
Now in its fifth year, the event will run from December 5 through 23, offering families a chance to experience the magic of a white Christmas in San Diego. Highlights include:
- Dazzling light shows
- Photos with Santa Claus and other Christmas characters
- A grand carousel
- A Christmas train
- A snow-covered hill for sledding
- Festive drinks and seasonal treats
- Local craft vendors
As night falls, visitors can stroll through illuminated tunnels of light and enjoy a special nightly snowfall beneath the glow of a towering 12-meter Christmas tree. On select nights, live music will also fill the air from the Sycuan Stage.
Tickets for this immersive holiday experience are now available, starting at $18 for children (12 and under) and $25 for adults. Admission includes access to all attractions and amenities listed above.
