Civil Protection of Tijuana informed this Thursday, December 24th that together with the Fire Department they have attended to the call of 88 fires of different nature in the last 14 hours, which were derived from the condition of Santa Ana winds present in the city.
According to authorities, these winds also caused other types of incidents, which have already been attended to, but they are calling on the population to avoid any type of burning, since the current weather conditions are conducive to these fires getting out of control.
Another of the actions carried out by Civil Protection this Christmas Eve is a tour of shopping centers (fixed and mobile) to confirm that the protocols for the health emergency by COVID-19 are being fulfilled, as mentioned in their report.
Remember that in case you witness a fire, you must dial 911 to make a report, have firefighters assist, and avoid the spread of the fire.
