Minutes ago, many rumors got out on the social networks that Mexican drug lord, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman was killed in a firefight in the northern province of Peten, Guatemala.

Mauricio Lopez Bonilla, Minister of the Interior in Guatemala confirmed a shooting incident in the village of San Valentin, San Francisco de Peten. Authorities found vehicles, weapons and two bodies. They speculate that one of the bodies could belong to the Mexican drug lord.

Documents leaked by Wikileaks have mentioned the location of "El Capo" in Peten. Local media reported the presence of Mexican authorities and members of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in the region, who prerformed the corresponding investigation to identify the bodies.

Interestingly, in 2001, Guzman escaped from a mexican prision in a laundry cart. He was captured in Guatemala years before.
