The goal is for the young racing driver to spread the good name of the state throughout the nearly twenty-five auto races he will be attending, while wearing the state seal on his uniform and car. Yet to turn 20 years-old, Cevallos says that wearing this title is a great personal satisfaction for him, as he continues working hard toward his goals.
While Cevallos may be young, it is his discipline and family support that have enabled him reach the goal of representing Mexico in the Formula 1 races, and, he hopes, to become its winner.
Cevallos' love of auto racing came about here, in Baja California, as a kid growing up he would watch the Baja 1000 races that some of his family members participated in. At a young age, he wasn't allowed to take part in those events, but it sparked his enthusiasm and as soon as he was of age he started training.
VIDEO : The story of Jorge Cevallos
Mexican auto racers are a rare and select group, and racing in Mexico is mostly concentrated in other cities such as Monterrey and Mexico City. Jorge Cevallos is the exception, and he will now have a shot of becoming a champion while wearing Baja's name not only in a national arena, but in an international arena. With Jorge Cevallos, Baja's history and image will be witnessed in Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world.

When asked, what do you like the most about Baja California? Cevallos answered, "the Baja 1000, nature, the adventure and fishing areas; technological innovation, industry, sports, and gastronomy. Baja is a very rich state"
The driver added that being Mexican always turns heads as he participates along side drivers mostly from Monaco, the United Kingdom, and Abu Dhabi. At first, they were taken aback when they learned where he was from. Now, as he has added many victories to his belt, he has paved the path to the Formula 1. He recently participated in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC world championship and quickly moved up in positions. Cevallos assured that he has kept up with strict training practice and has prepared for the Formula 1.

In addition to representing Baja California, Jorge Cevallos gives a shout out to his other sponsors and support. The driver wears the Telmex logo, and also receives support from Caliente Casinos, Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles, Tersa Llantas, Oakley, West Media, and Aba Cargo.
