Spring’s arrival will be celebrated in vibrant fashion as the Julian Daffodil Show returns for its 22nd edition on March 21-22, 2026. This beloved community event, dedicated to the flower that symbolizes hope and renewal, will transform the Julian Town Hall into a spectacular showcase of color and fragrance.
Held at 2129 Main Street in the heart of historic Julian, the free two-day festival promises a leisurely, family-friendly atmosphere perfect for welcoming the new season.
Daffodil Lovers Theme
Under the theme “Daffodil Lovers,” the show will feature more than a thousand blooms on display, offering visitors a chance to admire diverse daffodil varieties and learn about their unique characteristics.
Furthermore, members of the American Daffodil Society will be on hand throughout the weekend to answer gardening questions and offer cultivation tips.

Community at the Heart of the Event
Community members are also invited to submit their own daffodils for exhibition and judging on Friday, March 20, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Additionally, a special art exhibit will feature daffodil-inspired works created by students from Julian schools, highlighting the community’s creativity and imagination.
Hours and Prices
Sponsored by the Julian Chamber of Commerce and local daffodil enthusiasts, the event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days, with free admission for all.
For visitors planning a trip, the show offers the perfect centerpiece for a spring weekend in the mountains. And no visit to Julian is complete without sampling the town’s famous traditional apple pies!
