The historic town of Julian is set to sparkle once again as its beloved annual Parade of Lights returns on Saturday, December 6th, officially ushering in the holiday season with a procession of festively decorated vehicles, community cheer, and classic small-town charm.
The event, organized by Visit Julian, will begin at 6:00 p.m. along the community’s iconic Main Street, transforming the mountain town into a winter wonderland. Dozens of volunteer-driven cars, trucks, and floats, all adorned with brilliant lights, garlands, and festive motifs, will travel down the main road three times.
But the evening offers more than just the parade itself. Visitors are encouraged to make a night of it. The charming local shops along Main Street will be open for unique holiday shopping, and the town’s restaurants offer the perfect spot for dinner.
The festivities will culminate in a classic community gathering: a “Christmas Sing-Along” at the historic Town Hall. This family-friendly event invites everyone to join in singing Christmas carols, fostering a warm and festive spirit that embodies the heart of the season.
