Acclaimed singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas is bringing her music home! The Grammy-winning artist will kick off her highly anticipated “Norteña Tour” with a concert in Tijuana on May 22nd, a city she fondly calls her homeland.
The tour opener is set for the Audiorama at El Trompo Interactive Museum. Tickets for the show will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, January 20th, via arena.mx.

Venegas has long credited the border city as the foundation of her identity and sound. In a recent statement, she shared:
“In northern Mexico, in Tijuana, Baja California, is where my story begins. That’s where I shaped who I am, and where not only my way of thinking but also my approach to making music comes from. Everything for me is shaped by that experience, because I grew up on the border, and it was there that my sense of self and my view of the world took form.”
Julieta Venegas has a history of connecting deeply with her local fans, having performed several free concerts on the city’s iconic Avenida Revolución over the years, cementing her status as one of the region’s most cherished singer-songwriters.
