Finding sushi in Tijuana is an easy task, however, finding some place where sushi is actually good and recipes come with its own identity, now that's a different story. There are very little places where I've had the chance of tasting delicious and traditional Japanese cuisine mixed with a unique style, which is why visiting Kamira was a very pleasant surprise.

With a kitchen under Humberto Paez' supervision, a chef with over 27 years of experience in japan fusion, we tasted a great variety of dishes that delighted us due to their originality. To be honest, we didn't chose traditional dishes, given that we wanted to try something that was unique and part of the restaurant's identity; and boy, were they of our liking.

The restaurant opened its doors just two months ago, but little by little its has created a well established clientele, which aside from a delicious cuisine they also have a mixology bar and regional wines.
