BAJA CALIFORNIA.- With the purpose of getting to work and providing results for the people of Baja California since day one, the Elected Governor of Baja California, Francisco "Kiko" Vega de Lamadrid, held the first work meeting with the members of his team this weekend, they will officially being their work the 1st of November.
During his message, the Elected Governor reiterated his appreciation to the recently appointed members for accepting the responsibility of the tasks they have been assigned, being these men and women who will help him follow through on the commitments he promised to keep during his campaign.
The 1st level public servants were informed on the detailed report of the government transition process, as well as the political, financial and administrative situation of the State's Government and public state administration, as well as the austerity policies they will need to implement.
During this work meeting, a synthesis of the Governments Strategic Plan 2013-2019 was presented, this plan will start on November 1st. For the first time in the history of Baja California, the state government will have a work program for the entirety of it's 6 year term since day one.
The strategic plan of this new government synthesizes the main proposals of all the previous state development plans and the strategic plans elaborated by the private sector as well as official and academic institutions.
Kiko Vega expressed that: "We have the best government plan, because it was elaborated with the demands the citizens, the proposals of representative groups, and the projects of public, private and academic institutions"
Besides the guidelines, strategic plans as well as efficiency and austerity policies, the Strategic Plan has several key points to address in the 6 year investment state government program.
Finally the future governor requested his future employees and collaborators that they work in a coordinated manner with their counterparts who are currently in office and are about to conclude their term, with the purpose of having an institutional deliver-reception of their position, and have everything in order and with full transparency.
