WORLD.-Kotex, the feminine hygiene company, caused controversy when they posted an image that allegedly revealed a new product inspired on the new Universal Studios film, Minions. Tree yellow tamps, with round eyes, were featured in a controversial Facebook post, that turned out to be a joke:
"We are ready for the movie, what about you? Who's going to the premiere?," could be read on Kotex's page alongside the following image:
After it was posted, Kotex decided to taken down the drawing, probably because they didn't have the rights to manipulate the Minions design, or maybe because of the shcok response many unsatisfied followers had due to the combination of children's characters and a product designed to help women during their period.
