As autumn approaches, Tijuana’s popular agricultural attraction La Ruta del Maíz announced its seasonal reopening, bringing back family-friendly fall activities alongside new Halloween and Día de Muertos themed installations for the 2025 season.
The destination will welcome visitors starting September 13th with enhanced decorations and seasonal treats. Whether visiting as a couple, with friends, or with family, La Ruta del Maíz offers the perfect setting for creating autumn memories and capturing beautiful seasonal photographs.

What Can You Expect?
This year’s installations include a witch’s house experience, an interactive children’s petting zoo, expansive corn mazes, pumpkin patches and numerous photo opportunities themed around both Halloween and traditional Day of the Dead.
Visitors can also enjoy seasonal culinary offerings including pumpkin spice ice cream, traditional pan de muerto, pumpkin pies, and mandarin-infused desserts. Food and beverage options will be available throughout the venue.

Everything You Need to Know About La Ruta del Maíz
The attraction will operate Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., remaining closed on Tuesdays throughout the season.
General admission is set at $180 pesos ($10 USD) per person, with children under two entering free of charge. No reservation is quired. Payment is cash-only and pets are not permitted.
La Ruta del Maíz will remain open through November 9th, offering six weeks of autumn activities for Tijuana’s families and visitors.
