After Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador appeared in the analysis program "Tercer Grado" saying that he has data that puts him in first place on the electoral preference, today appeared two surveys that could confirm that information.
Some people doubt about the data truthfulness saying that if previous polls were not trustworthy, there was no reason to believe in this new data just because there is a new electoral preference.
The first was a survey conducted by Berumen and Associates who assured they followed the methodology used by UNAM University and the College of Mexico.
The main numbers are:
Andrés Manuel López Obrador 31.8 %
Enrique Peña Nieto 30.9 %
Josefina Vázquez Mota 20.7 %
The data regarding the undecided vote and the preference for the New Alliance Party representative, Gabriel Quadri was not disclosed, but both options conformed 16.6%.The survey was released a few hours ago by Claudia Herrera,a reporter for "La Jornada" newspaper.
In the last minutes, Edmundo Berumen from "Berumen and Associates went to the Radio show of journalist Denise Maerker and pointed out that the early results were incomplete data. The real numbers are margins of voters. The numbers he presented were:
Enrique Peña Nieto : 30.9 a 35.9 %
Andrés Manuel López Obrador : 22.8% a 31.8 %
Josefina Vázquez Mota : 15.3% a 20.7
This new outlook is backed by the circulation of a survey made by the National Union of Education Workers and the New Alliance Party. The document was leaked by social networks and states that the results are the product of phone calls and questionnaires to parents. Something worth highlighting is the fact that within the document there is a statement indicating that said document should be destroyed once it has being analyzed.
The numbers are:
Andrés Manuel López Obrador : 36%
Enrique Peña Nieto : 30%
Josefina Vázquez Mota : 19%
Gabriel Quadri : 5%

The remaining respondents chose the 'no vote' option or did not answered. The information coincides with the Vanguardia newspaper who spoke of the SNTE surveys performed to know the opinion about a possible waiver of the presidential candidacy of Gabriel Quadri and thus, an alliance of PANAL with the PRI party and the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico who have now become the "Alliance for Mexico." The rumor was strengthened by a meeting held between Gabriel Quadri and Pedro Joaquin Coldwell, national leader of the PRI party.
The preference of Lopez Obrador had already been observed in studies made at several universities such as UNAM. Even the "ZETA" weekly newspaper of Baja California gave a difference of 10 points in favor of Andres Manuel over Enrique Peña Nieto.
This morning Enrique Peña Nieto was also the subject of unfavorable statements by the New York Times who said that only in Mexico it was possible that a candidate like him would be the presidential favorite despite the information and citizens' movements against him.
