Tijuana now has a destination that’s a dream come true for cat lovers and brunch enthusiasts alike: Lola & Lilo: Brunch & Mimosas.
New Cat-Themed Restaurant at Plaza Río
This new themed restaurant has opened its doors at Plaza Río, serving colorful plates and supporting a local animal shelter.
Inspired by the owners’ two adopted cats—Lola and Lilo—the café offers a vibrant, feline-themed atmosphere where every detail reflects a love for cats. The establishment has also partnered with Kitty’s House Shelter, turning the space into an official donation center and adoption promoter.

“With this collaboration, we can officially serve as a collection point so more people can donate and support this cause, while also raising awareness for responsible adoptions,” the shelter shared on social media.
All merchandise and accessory sales goes directly to the shelter, and customers who bring donations of cat litter or food receive 1 free coffee.
For hygiene and comfort, pets are not permitted inside the dining area.

The menu focuses on brunch classics with creative flair featuring dishes such as:
- Chilaquiles (birria style, poblano, green, chipotle red, etc.)
- Eggs
- Cat Velvet (a French toast shaped like a cat)
- Burgers
- Sandwiches
- Pastas
- Cream soups
- Salads
Drinks include hot and cold drinks, specialty coffees, frappés, and house-made syrups crafted by an in-house barista like the popular Fruit Punch Latte. Starting December 8, the restaurant will also offer a mixology menu.

Lola & Lilo is located at Paseo de los Héroes 98, inside Plaza Río in Zona Urbana Río Tijuana.
