After closing the doors to its iconic spot in La Cacho, Lorca Restaurant, famous for its traditional paella and refined Spanish cuisine, is making a comeback at a new location: Avenida Ferrocarril 10 in the El Prado neighborhood, where Estación Prado once stood.

The news broke on social media yesterday, when a photo of the renovated space started making the rounds and stirring excitement among loyal costumers. San Diego Red visited the location to investigate the reports and spoke with a staff member who confirmed that the inauguration is expected this week.
On Tuesday morning, Lorca put the speculation to rest, announcing via social media that it will officially reopen on Thursday, June 19. According to the post, the team is now putting the final touches in place to offer the signature dining experience that has long defined the restaurant.
