A team of more than 100 volunteers have set out to celebrate love by helping multiple vulnerable sectors showing the different shades of love. On Thursday, February 11th, the activities kicked off with two simultaneous events at Tijuana's General Hospital and IMSS' 20 Clinic, located in the 5 y 10 area. A total of 415 people received food and chocolates.

"Love Week" continued on Friday, February 12th, with activities in Zona Norte from 7 to 9 pm, where more than 400 people received food, chocolates and basic necessities, as well as hope messages. Here, the volunteers focused in helping migrants, homeless people and sex workers.

To end their "Love Week", the "Yo Ancla Tijuana" community visited the "El Refugio" nursing home with more than 150 seniors there. They served more than 175 food plates, as well as sanitation activities, care and forming social bonds with the members of the nursing home. They also donated cleaning supplies, food and money for the facility expenses.

"Yo Ancla Tijuana" has previously led a community meeting in Lomas Taurinas, where more than 500 people benefited from it. They gave out 100 food provisions, 300 toys, 100 blankets, 400 food plates, 40 haircuts, legal, nutritional and medical counseling.
