Nicolas Maduro has expressed that he will not allow these demonstrations for the recount of votes, and also accused Henrique Capriles of plotting a movement to forcefully take him out of office.

"If they want to overthrow me, come and get me, but I will not let this go" Maduro declared on television.

And added that Capriles is going to hand over Venezuela to the United States and "kill the revolution." He urged for Venezuelans to be patient, as it is difficult to take the reins left by Hugo Chavez.
