This event will have more than 3000 runners, among them collaborators, fans, and national and internationally renowned athletes. Number distribution took place last Tuesday, April 9 at this hotel's facilities. Due to the excitement and popularity of this race, there were long lines during the registration process and there are currently no available spots.
Something interesting to note is that Tijuana native marathon runner dog "El Chicles" will participate as a runner. This famous dog has been in nationally important races and has won medals and the hearts of thousands of people who are expecting him to win something in this upcoming challenge.
Prizes for this race are symbolic: 3,000 pesos for 1st place, 2,000 pesos for 2nd place, and 1,000 pesos for 3rd place.
In an interview with San Diego Red, Grand Hotel Tijuana HR manager, licentiate Adrián Ortiz, expressed his excitement at organizing this race which will stand out due to its neon light, shine, and electronic theme that will be present throughout its 4.7 kilometers. This run will begin in this iconic building at 8 PM and go through Bulevar Agua Caliente, go up through Avenida Hipódromo, and will circle around nearby neighborhoods until reaching Avenida Sonora (Recta de la Chapu) and it will end at the starting point.
The race, endorsed by the municipal sports league, will be suitable for all ages and will have security measures through the entire path, with participation of police and emergency agencies. Registration had no cost and this race is pet friendly.

Ortiz emphasized that next year Grand Hotel Tijuana will spare no expense to celebrate the hotel's 40th anniversary, which was founded as Fiesta Americana and then changed its name to Grand Hotel Tijuana in 1995.
