What seems like just another product has now begun to be a hot topic in social networks following its launch. Many have now also pointed out the "details" of this Barbie as being a joke.
The "Barbie Collector" is series of Barbie's that started in 2005, which ever since then, each year new Barbie's from different countries are introduced. Finally in 2012, the Mexico Barbie was released.
On the Barbie Welcome Card it says that Mexico is a country full of culture, mariachi and marimbas, among other details that describe it.
Interestingly, the hot pink dress that the Barbie is wearing is not accompanied by the traditional sombrero, but instead is shown carrying a Chihuahua dog.
Other countries that joined this year's 2013 collection are France, the Philippines and Spain.
