Tijuana Mayor Abdiel Gutiérrez Coronado held a strategic meeting with representatives of Coparmex Tijuana to advance the joint work agenda established between the 25th City Hall and the business community.
During the meeting, Mayor Gutiérrez welcomed the delegation headed by Coparmex President Elisa Ibáñez Aldana, expressing appreciation for the organization’s commitment to collaborative efforts. He reiterated his administration’s dedication to an agenda rooted in open dialogue, inter-institutional coordination, and consensus-building to drive Tijuana’s economic growth, urban development, and competitive edge.

“Let us continue working in synergy. You are the driving force behind a stronger Tijuana, and for this Municipal Government, listening to you and moving forward together is a top priority,” Gutiérrez stated.
The mayor also announced that future working sessions will include the heads of various municipal departments, ensuring that the issues raised receive targeted follow-up and concrete action from the relevant areas.

Meanwhile, Elisa Ibáñez Aldana thanked the mayor for his openness and willingness to maintain a close, productive relationship with City Hall. She underscored that sustained dialogue, coordinated efforts, and continuity in the shared agenda are essential to delivering tangible results for the city and its residents.

The meeting, which reinforces the bond between the business sector and local authorities, centered on critical topics including public safety, regulatory reform, mobility, and road safety.
Among those in attendance were Pedro Montejo Peterson, Tijuana’s Secretary of Economic Development; María Fernanda Mena Rodríguez, Director of Economic Promotion; and Coparmex representatives Alma Cabanillas Cabanillas, Antonio Cano Jiménez, Juan Manuel Hernández Niebla, and Roberto Quijano Sosa.
