Mayor Norma Bustamante spearheaded a major community intervention this Saturday, leading city agencies in the “Joining Efforts for Your Neighborhood” operation. The initiative, centered in the public park in Parajes del Oriente, aims to tackle the area’s most pressing needs through direct, coordinated action.

“This operation is about closeness and teamwork. It puts the community at the very heart of government decision-making,” she said.

The multiagency effort mobilized resources across the Mexicali government. Residents will see immediate improvements, including pothole repairs, graffiti removal, deep cleaning of public spaces, installation of new road signs, cleanup of vacant lots, and repairs to street lighting.
